Ava Auto Repair

Norman is an honest mechanic! He is refreshing from all the other mechanics we have in our area. A kind humble man and a master technician..

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this repair shop because there are many pros AND cons. pros: your car will be fixed. They are very knowledgeable and are good at what they do. This might be the most important part to some people. They also accept walk-ins and get you out the door the same day, no leaving your car for the whole day. cons: There is noticeable lack of integrity with pricing. The quotes given for a particular service are misleading. He says $129 to change the brakes, but he really meant $129/hr, and he can take as long as he wants to change them. I came to change the brakes out, and asked if he could tighten the heat shields. He did and it came out to an hr and a half so i…

Norman is remarkable. Not only as a mechanic, but an owner as well. The same is to be said of the entire crew working there. For as long as he's been in the business of repairing automobiles of all types and phases, I wish that we had met 30 years earlier so as to have saved a lot of time and had my money well spent. This place does it right in meeting my expectations without discussion of diagnosing, repairing, and the turnaround time like that of a pit crew... Nuff said..!

Spoke with the owner Norman at Ava’s. This guy is awesome. Very reasonably priced and explains in detail what is wrong with the vehicle. He brought out the damaged part for me to look at and found the best priced parts for me and cost of labor was great priced aswell. Norman is down to earth and genuinely cares about your safety while operating your vehicle. I drive a Lexus so parts can get expensive. While being a women it’s easy for mechanics to take advantage and overcharge you. But Not Norman he is honest and hard working. I will definitely be using him again and referring my friends and family

This place was great. I spoke with the owner and he is a great man with good values. It's hard to find good honest mechanic shops with good values these days. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
